Hello and welcome to my brain (enter at your own risk). My name is Adia, but online I answer to GumyWerm17 because obviously every iconic internet persona needs a slightly unhinged alias. I’m 26, originally from Arizona, and after spending 25 whole years haunting the horror, music, and art scenes of the desert, I’ve officially relocated my main character energy to Massachusetts. New state. New cemeteries to wander. New stories to obsess over.
This blog exists for a few reasons: to hype up my friends and their creative platforms (because we SUPPORT our people in this haunted house), to document my horror-fueled thoughts, and to essentially spill my guts to strangers on the internet in the most emotionally theatrical way possible. None of my reviews are gospel. I am not your horror professor (even though I absolutely act like it). This is all for fun. So please — be sweet, not sour. We can disagree without summoning demons about it.
If you’ve ever felt like a tourist in your own hometown… like you’ve memorized the streets but not yourself… then you get it. Moving across the country isn’t just about geography it’s about shedding skin, rewriting your own lore, and figuring out who you are when the background changes. I want this space to feel like a late-night phone call between best friends. No secrets, no fake politeness, just honest feelings and a shared obsession with everything slightly morbid.
So if you love horror, overthinking fictional characters, underground music, art that makes you uncomfortable, and finding strange beauty in dark places — you’re in the right place.
Let’s find the sweetness in life’s darkest corners.
Log off. Lock your doors. Text me when you’re home.
xoxo
Adia 🖤
